Description
Original 24″ x 48″ soft pastel drawing on UArt sanded drawing paper. To ensure its longevity and stability, it has been mounted on an archival aluminum panel. The piece is framed with kiln-dried Douglas fir which has a matte black finish. To further protect the drawing, spacers have been included within the frame, between the drawing and Matte Finished UV Filter Acrylic, specifically chosen to minimize distracting glare while still allowing for excellent viewing.:
The protective acrylic offers several key benefits, including its matte finish which effectively reduces unwanted glare. It also provides a high level of visual clarity, with a 92% visible light transmission rate. For both safety during transport and ongoing protection of the artwork, the acrylic is shatter resistant. Importantly, it also blocks up to 99% of damaging ultraviolet (UV) rays, which helps to prevent fading and degradation of the pastel for generations to come.
